How It Works

How Will the Breaking Down the Borders Internet Astrology Conference Work, featuring Chris Turner

Check out our new video, in which Conference Coordinator Chris Turner explains in clear, easy-to-understand language, exactly how to access and use the audio-visual facilities where the conference will be held!

The conference will take place over three days in our audio-visual meeting facility at GoToMeeting. Each day of the conference consists of four sessions. During each session, there will be five lectures taking place -- one in each of the five rooms of the audio-visual facility. The lecture starting times are staggered, so as to insure the availability of lectures at convenient times in all time zones around the world.

Each lecture has three hours allocated to it: approximately 90 minutes for the lecture itself; approximately 30 minutes for arrival, informal chat, and questions; and approximately one hour break between lectures. As lectures will be running continuously for almost 15 hours per day, this arrangement allows participants time for naps, meals, family time, etc.

The specific schedule of sessions for each day is as follows. The time given is the starting time for each lecture, provided in U.S. Eastern Standard Time, Greenwich Mean Time, and Australian Eastern Daylight Time.

Please note that the highlighted times occur locally on the date following the date specified in the schedule. For example, the first lecture of the conference takes place on Friday, November 19th, at 11:00 am U.S. Eastern Time, which is Friday, November 19th, 4:00 pm GMT, and Saturday, November 20th, 3:00 am Australian EDT.
